On the other hand, the Class o' 08 had their graduation today, got to play Pomp and Circumstances/Recessional/Miss Liberty/Genius/Whispers of the Heart OVER. and OVER. and OVER. AND OVER .AND OVER .AND OVER again...
god damn, i mean, sure quarter notes are easy, but are they ever BORING after you've played the same thing 10 times D:
not to mention we we're on stage with no air-conditioning and had to listen to 12 different speeches, 11 of which were relatively short. that last one though... EVERYONE in the band wanted to shoot because he went on and on and on and on and on. Never in my life have I ever HATED energizer so much >:C
in the end, the seniors got their diplomas amidst screams from their fans and random air-horn blasts and dip-sticks dancing while getting said diplomas.
When it ended and i got on the bus ride home, i realized something...
Technically, now that the seniors aren't seniors anymore... I am... and in exactly one year from that point, i'd be doing the same thing.
and so i had on of those moments where you think back on your life and wonder how can something so LONG gone by so fast.
and, tell you the truth... i don't know if i really want to graduate... i WILL, but that doesn't mean that i expressly want to...
